This piece features a hand-fabricated, 16g 14k yellow gold, layered design. The seam ring shape allows for the piece to remain secured without the possibility of coming unhinged.

To insert the ring, using a pair of hemostats or flat needle nose pliers and clean or gloved hands, firmly grip the ring and twist the ends of the ring in opposite directions. DO NOT pull the ends apart, this will distort the ring. Once open, guide the ring through your septum, and with the hemostats or pliers, twist the ends back together.

If you’re finding this challenging to do on your own, call your local, reputable piercing studio and they will be able to insert it for you.

This jewelry is intended for healed piercings.

To measure for a septum ring, you can measure the inner diameter of your piercing with a ruler, or a small strip of paper, and a fine-tipped marker.

1. Line up the edge of the paper with the bottom of your piercing

2. Mark where the edge of your nose is on the paper

3. Use the ruler to measure the distance between the mark and the edge of the paper in inches.

4. Repeat a few times to ensure accuracy.
